Ana Royo Marco

Ana obtained her PhD in Immunology and Neuroscience from the University of Virginia, where she studied how traumatic brain injury and meningeal lymphatic dysfunction influence the development of tauopathies. She is passionate about interdisciplinary research such as studying neuro-immune interactions to better understand diseases of the central nervous system. Outside the lab, she enjoys playing tennis, working out, and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, especially in search of a good açaí bowl.
